Introduction to Yoga Workshop
All of our group classes are based at Dockland Settlements Centre, E14 3PS. A 2 minute walk from Island Gardens DLR.
Introduction to Yoga is suitable for beginners with some basic knowledge and absolute beginners who have not stepped onto a mat and dont know where to begin.
Offered as a block of six 90 minute classes, once a week for 6 weeks. We will have the time to unlock many of the keys behind creating a sustainable yoga practice and put in to place a guide for you to follow and practice at home in between classes.
We will incorporate traditional yoga asanas (postures) with an awareness of what feels good to your body and how to adapt the postures for your body.
Gain flexibility in your hips and shoulders and learn how to use yoga as therapy to help recovery after exercise.
We will cover seated, standing and supine postures as well as transitions and feet placement.
Each 90 minute session will include a relaxation and a short yoga nidra mediation at the end of class to relax you completely and send you home ready to enjoy the rest of your evening.

Who am I?
Im a veteran yoga teacher with over a decade of teaching experience. Qualified as a 500 Hour Yoga Master with Yoga Alliance. You are in safe hands!
Classes are booked as block of 6 classes (9 hours total) for £100.
