Mum & Baby Yoga
Tuesdays at 11.15am & Thursdays at 12pm
All group classes are based at Dockland Settlements Centre, E14 3PS.
We are a 2-minute walk from Island Gardens DLR, next to the Greenwich Foot Tunnel

Mum & Baby Yoga is suitable for mums whose babies are 6+ weeks old after a vaginal delivery and a minimum of 12+ weeks old after a c-section. Perfect until baby is actively moving.
Join us for mummy postures, baby postures and then some wonderful asana for the both of you together.
Each class will help to strengthen your shoulders, relieve back pain and provide additional movement into the hips. We will gently bring the focus back to your pelvic floor and introduce some fun postures that you can replicate with baby at home.
I’m here to hold and soothe a fractious baby if you need additional support and honestly, I’m never happier than when I’m surrounded by babies!
I take plenty of photographs of the two of you in each class and hopefully will capture some truly wonderful pictures of you and your baby having fun together.
If you already have some mummy friends, do let me know if several of you want to join at the same time. If you need some local mummy friends, then this is the class for you.
Things to consider
I’m very strict about waiting 6 weeks or 12+ weeks before exercise for new mums. My main concern is keeping you and your baby safe so please do wait to join until the right time.
If you still have lochia (post birth bleeding), or considerable pain (c-section scar, episiotomy or tearing), please see a medical professional before starting yoga.
Please do complete the health questionnaire with as much info as you can. If there is anything I need more clarity on, I shall give you a call.
Pricing
You may buy class passes or a monthly membership.
Classes may be booked 1 month in advance and booking closes 1 hour before class.
There are 2 Mum & Baby Yoga classes per week plus a Baby Massage class, so you may choose up to 3 postnatal classes per week.
What to bring for baby
Bring your baby and your normal changing bag and a blanket for baby to lie on.
What to bring for you
Please wear something comfortable that you can move in. Layers are good as you may want to remove a layer if you get warm and put it back on to get comfortable. A bottle of water to sip from is also a good idea.
Health & Wellbeing
Please do complete the health questionnaire with all pertinent information so that I may adapt the class plan and asana as required. If there are health issues that change from week to week, please feel free to message me directly and update me.
